SEWA Senior Citizen’s Home

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

SEWA is running Senior Citizen’s Home or called SEWA Old Age Home at Narnaul City of District Mahendergarh under the guidance and directions of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. Under the program, we are providing shelter along with health, nutritional as well as recreational facilities to more than 25 elderly persons by covering both male & females. Mostly Inmates are orphanage, missing, destitute, domestic violence cases, needy and distressed persons. In which some of them have families but in real no family support & others are alone, and have no any children or relatives to look after. SEWA is working as a Parent for these inmates. Inmates in this home are getting shelter, food, recreational as well as regular medical check-up with necessary counselling & medicines. Apart from this, Proficient and qualified staff are also working to look after the inmates.

Additionally, we are providing indoor recreational activities such as TV, Religious Prayer system, Yoga equipment and other music system. For safety and security there are CCTV cameras, Fire Extinguisher and other necessary facilities as well as night duty chowkidar and care taker to look after the elders. We also celebrate several festivals with the elders like as Diwali, Makkar Sankranti, Holi and Teej. During the religious celebrations, we also distribute clothes, shoes & other necessities items to inmates every year. Apart from this we also organize religious tours for the senior citizens during the year.

Building

The SEWA Senior Citizen’s home is situated at an Eco-Friendly building having all the basic amenities with big size ventilated rooms, big lawn and other neat & clean environment. Besides, there spacious bathrooms and toilets in the home. In the home, there is dining-cum-entertainment tables to eat food along with Wi-Fi TV facilities.

Kitchen Details

Kitchen of the home is very neat & clean with basic amenities. Besides, we have store and refrigerator for keeping ration and other food items properly.
