SENIOR CITIZEN HOME, A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

SEWA is successfully running Senior Citizen’s Home at Nangal Choudhary town of District Mahendergarh as sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi usually called as SEWA Senior Citizen’s Home. Under this programme, we are providing need base services facilities such as Residential, Medical, Nutritional and Recreational to around 25 aged Persons including male & females both. The aged persons living in this home are mostly orphanage, poor, needy and distressed person. In which some of them have families but family neglected them & others are very poor, needy and have no any children & relatives. SEWA organization is working as a mother for these inmates. In this home for inmates we are maintaining regular medical check-up and also providing free medicines. A yoga Instructor is regularly providing Yoga practices to the aged Persons. There are qualified & experienced full as well as part time staff are working regularly including Superintendant, Counsellor, Multi Task Staff, Part Time Doctor, Nurse & Yoga instructor etc. Expert & Experienced Counsellor are providing trauma and regular counseling to the Aged Persons.

At the present COVID timing we are regular maintaining social distancing and using mask & hand sanitizer in the home. Besides, there are Indoor games and other recreational activities such as Meditation, TV, CCTV Cameras for aged persons. Besides, we are also providing Clothes & other basic facilities to the aged persons.

Kitchen Details

Kitchen of the Home is very neat & clean, we have all the necessary facilities in the Kitchen, our staff is regular cleaning and maintaining it. There is store for Ration & Fridge for other fruit, vegetables and milk.
