Society for Education & Welfare Activities (SEWA) is regularly organizing various Awareness Generation Programs on the topic of Child Rights Protection, prevention of Female Feticide, Child Marriage Act, POCSO Act, Prevention of Child Labor & Child Begging and Trafficking of Children. Through these programs spread awareness on these activities and programmes in collaboration with District Child Protection Unis. Besides, the Organization is also working AHTU, CWC & DCPU for working in Operation Smile.
Society for Education & Welfare Activities (SEWA) has been successfully working for Prevention of Begging especially for Child and Women Beggar. During the last 14 years, we have surveyed and contacted number of Women and Children Beggars in Mahendergarh, Rohtak & Jhajjar Districts of Haryana State. Besides we are also organizing Awareness Generation Programs in Mahendergarh & Rohtak Districts along with District Child Protection Unit, Child Welfare Committee. We usually inform Child Help Line / Anti Human Trafficking Unit as well as DCPU and CWC for taking care of Beggar Children. Besides, we also identified various begging sites / places / temples in various places of Haryana State. We are regular organizing Awareness Generation Programs, Mobilization and Direct Reach programs with Child Beggar and Women Beggars.
